Prey Anti-Theft

Did you ever lose your phone and felt that it was nearly impossible to track it down? Well then, here’s an app that is quite helpful. Prey Anti-Theft app is an open source, cross-platform anti-theft phone tracker, which tracks down your lost or stolen phone. Once your phone has been activated and instructed to go into “missing mode”, the app automatically starts tracking the phone’s current location and locks the phone or deletes the files on it.

The Weather Channel

The Weather Channel app for Android updates you with the forecast based on your location using the phone’s GPS, severe weather alerts, and you can also set up automatically updating widgets on your phone’s home screen.   1. I have been floored by Vmail – free video mail. It is instant, looks good and works flawlessly on my phone, SGS. I have even cut down on my texting because Vmail is just way easier to use. I really love this app.

  9. Need help I bought Panidigital Android (has e-reader too) & I can’t watch videos will not get on You Tube either!! This is why I wanted it a lot anyway so is there something that I need to get?? I think it is because it doesn’t support Adobe. I am not computer smart & would LOVE it if someone could tell me what to do PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

    1. Download Skyfire version 2.30, a little tv pops up in the left hand bottom corner that converts youtube and you will be able to watch!

  14. An application which I have found very useful is Torque. This app will read the info from you cars OBD2 port via bluetooth (sold seperatly $15 on ebay) I will provide real time info on your cars (or Trucks) operation. It will read the error codes and reset the ‘Check Engine’ light. Well worth the price.

  17. For following the NFL, I like the PlayoffTicker app. I’d like to know a good app to keep on top of what programs and processes are running, as my phone often gets really slow for no apparent reason.

  18. Picked up a couple of apps on my first visit. One I would recommend is multicon – lets you put 4 shortcuts in the space normally used by just one.
