Privacy policy
Last updated: 5 November 2026.
This page describes the operation of The Tech Labs website. Use the contact form for a privacy question or a request concerning information you submitted.
Information you provide
Product submissions collect the contact and product details shown on the form so the site owner can assess a listing or ownership claim. Reader reviews collect the review, rating and contact details for moderation. Contact messages collect your name, email, subject and message so the owner can handle your request.
Contact email addresses and private moderation notes are not displayed as public directory content. If a reader review is approved, its public review fields, including the supplied display name and rating, may appear on the relevant product page.
Technical information
The web server and hosting infrastructure record request information in operational logs, which can include IP addresses, requested addresses, timestamps and browser information. Form records use a keyed hash of the request IP for abuse handling rather than a plain IP field in those records. Hosting logs are separate from that form record.
The application uses cookies needed for sessions, form protection and administrator sign-in. The rebuilt public site does not add an advertising tracker or third-party analytics script. Hosting and delivery providers may process requests as part of delivering and protecting the site.
Storage and access
Submitted information is stored in the site's database and may be included in backups. Authorised administrators can access it for site operation and moderation. Avoid sending passwords, payment-card details or sensitive documents through the forms.
Records are kept while needed for handling submissions, moderation, site operation and recovery. You may request review or deletion of information you provided through the contact form; backup copies can remain until their normal replacement cycle. This policy does not promise an immediate deletion from every backup.
External sites
Vendor and source links lead to independently operated websites with their own privacy practices. An affiliate redirect may record the link, referring host, timestamp and a likely-bot indicator for aggregate link activity.
Changes and requests
This page will be updated when the site's data handling changes. Include enough information to identify your submission when making a request, but do not send credentials. The site owner may need to verify that a request concerns your information before acting.
